Rep. Sandra Williams gets suspended jail time, fine for misusing campaign funds (12/5/14)

State Sen.-elect Sandra Williams on Friday received a six-month suspended jail sentence and a $1,000 fine for illegally selling Ohio State football season tickets that she bought with campaign funds and then failing to report the sale.

Williams, a Cleveland Democrat who is wrapping up an eight-year term in the Ohio House, was convicted of illegal campaign finance conversion and attempted election falsification, both of which are first-degree misdemeanors.Read more at
